File Locking Bars: Is a Lock Bar Right For Me?

The file locking bar attaches to the small strip of the cabinet that is NEXT TO the drawer, shown in this picture. It can attach to either the left or right side of the cabinet.	If your file cabinet drawers go all the way to the edge like the picture below, then there is nowhere to attach the bar. If you have a fireproof cabinet these bars will NOT attach to the metal used in fireproof cabinets.
