Returns, Refunds & Troubleshooting

Return Authorization Required

All returns require a Return Authorization Number (RA#).

The RA# must be issued within 14 calendar days of receiving your order and is valid for the following 14 calendar days.

Returns received without an RA# may be refused.


Refunds & Restocking Fees

Refunds are issued for the merchandise returned. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Items ordered incorrectly, no longer needed, or otherwise returned for reasons unrelated to manufacturing defects are subject to a 25% minimum restocking fee.

Orders totaling $500 or more may also be subject to a 25% minimum restocking fee.


Returning Your Items

Please package all items securely in a padded envelope or box.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and should obtain tracking information, as EasyKeys.com is not responsible for items lost in transit.

Missing, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives with missing, damaged, or incorrect items, please notify us within 14 calendar days of delivery. Photos may be required to verify damaged or incorrect items.

Once verified, we will reship the affected item(s) at no additional charge.


Key Troubleshooting & Support

We take pride in the accuracy of our key cutting process. If your replacement keys do not work as expected, please contact us within 14 calendar days of delivery. In many cases, we can quickly identify the cause and help resolve the issue.

To troubleshoot, please email info@easykeys.com with your order number and:

  • A clear photo of the face of the lock
  • A photo of the non-working key(s) with the cuts visible

Our team will compare the cuts shown on the key against the manufacturer's specifications in our key-cutting software to verify that the key was cut correctly.

If we determine that an error occurred during production, we will promptly reship replacement key(s) at no additional charge using the same shipping method selected during checkout.


Returns Without Troubleshooting

If you prefer not to provide photos or participate in troubleshooting, you may still return the keys in accordance with this policy.

However, because we are unable to determine the cause of the issue without reviewing the lock and key, returns submitted without troubleshooting will be processed as standard returns, and are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer.

Common causes of non-working keys that are unrelated to manufacturing include:

  • Incorrect lock codes
  • Locks that have been replaced or rekeyed
  • Worn or damaged lock mechanisms
  • Manufacturer code changes
  • Ordering from the wrong key series

HPC / Hudson Products

HPC and Hudson products must be:

  • Returned within 14 calendar days
  • In unused condition
  • Returned with all original components and packaging

A 10% restocking fee applies. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
