Cyber Lock Key Identification Guide

Ordering the correct Cyber Lock replacement key starts with identifying the complete key code.

Cyber Lock uses multiple key series that often share the same numeric lock codes. The series prefix is just as important as the number.

The Prefix Is Part of the Key Code

0850 ≠ CC0850 ≠ CD0850 ≠ CL0850 ≠ CO0850 ≠ P0850

Although these keys share the same numeric code, they belong to different Cyber Lock key series. Each series uses a different key blank and key cuts, so they are not interchangeable.

Always order your replacement key using both the prefix and the number.

Where Do I Find the Prefix?

The prefix is often stamped separately from the numeric code, making it easy to overlook.

On many original keys, the prefix appears below or beside the numeric code.

Common Cyber Lock Key Series

Some of the most common Cyber Lock key series include:

  • CC
  • CD
  • CL
  • CO
  • P

Even if two keys share the same numeric code, they are not interchangeable unless the prefix also matches.

What If My Lock Doesn't Have a Prefix?

If your lock truly does not have a prefix, you may need a replacement key from the 01–1000 key series. These keys are for designed specifically for locks which do not have a prefix stamped on the lock face or key.

What Does "M1" Mean?

Some Cyber Lock lock cores are stamped with M1 in addition to the lock code.

CC0001 - CC1000 Key

M1 is not part of the key code. It simply indicates that the lock belongs to Master Key Group M1.

For example:

  • CC0880 is the replacement operating key.
  • M1 identifies the master key group.
  • The complete replacement key code is CC0880, not M1880.

M1 Master Key Compatibility

The MCC1 master key (also known as PMM1) only operates lock cores that are stamped M1.

At EasyKeys:

  • CC0001 lock cores are stamped M1, so the MCC1 (PMM1) master key will operate these cores.
  • CC0002–CC0010 lock cores are not stamped M1, so the MCC1 (PMM1) master key will not operate them.
