  1. Check inside the lock
    • Look for the broken key piece inside the keyway
    • Use a light or magnifier if needed
  2. Insert the key extractor
    • Slide the tool into the lock alongside the broken key
    • Look for a small gap between the key and the side of the lock
  3. Hook onto the broken key
    • Gently turn the extractor so the teeth catch the key
  4. Slowly pull the key out
    • Carefully pull the extractor toward you
    • Repeat the process if needed until the piece comes out

 You may need to try this a few times to fully remove the key


⚠️ Important Tips

  • Do not force the key or tools, as this can damage the lock
  • Work slowly and carefully to avoid pushing the key further inside
  • If the key is deeply stuck, multiple attempts may be needed
